SUMMER TEEN CAMP
Our summer program will introduce our participants to nature and to our community. They will get to meet new friends and old friends. The participants will set goals and steps to achieve those goals. We will have a sports week, a nature week in which we will go to different nature areas and explore. Plus so much more!!! We will do activities such as swimming, camping, work-outs, we will go to the fair, work on team building. The participants will get a chance to work with younger kids and learn to be positive role-models.
AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
Teens are transported from school to the Y.
Our Program assists teens and tweens to learn how to express themselves, come together for team building and to be active and informed citizens. We involve or youth with the community and in service projects. Our activities are hands-
on so they learn about the environment and about our community. We provide positive recreation and interaction between youth and adults. We offer a tutoring/study time.
Our activities are combined with discussions centered on making good decisions, setting goals, avoiding substance abuse, understand the importance of exercising and nutrition. Our environment is safe and FUN!!! Activities include; Swimming, games as a group such as: 3-step, dodgeball, basketball, etc. We do work-outs, we invite guest speakers,
